Misu Trading is a well-established trading and business house, incorporated on 2nd August 1988 with the Department of Commerce, His Majesty's Government of Nepal. In the past 16 years, Misu Trading has established itself as a reputable trading and business house specializing in exports, imports and as general order suppliers, with business alliance in many countries around the world.
Mr. Raju Prasad Panta, the promoter of Misu Trading - is a well-known business professional, having extensive business contacts and rich experience in international business and trading practices. The Company's Coordinator Mrs. Bimala Panta, has lend the company credible edge over other competitors.
The Mission of Misu Trading is to meet the emerging needs of the country in a reliable and cost effective manner efficiently. The company pledge to maintain its high reputation of honesty and integrity in meeting the needs of the customers in a most competitive manner.

Line of Business

Misu Trading started its business as a dealer of Hetauda Cement Factory. Liberalization of Nepalese economy since early 1990s and the ensuing growth in trade and construction activities gave tremendous boost to the company's business and to gradually expand its line of business to cover building materials like bitumen, iron rods, machinery and tools and bulk trading on consumer goods as well. Nepal's Indian & Chinese's comparative advantage in exporting vegetable seeds to many clients abroad has opened new opportunities for international trading partners to join hands with Misu Trading for a joint venture.

Misu Trading imports and supplies:
- Infrastructure development materials (pipe & pipe fittings, water meter, cement, iron rod, bitumen, chemical, sanitary fittings etc.),
- Machinery and tools (security products, computer and its peripherals),
- Hospital and medical equipments,
- Agricultural goods,
- Consumer goods (sugar, flour, fertilizer etc).
- Vegetable seeds.

Export division of Misu Trading deals with a variety of Nepali products:
- Pashmina shawl
- Hand woven woolen carpets
- Ready-made Garments
- Variety of handicraft product including Bamboo furniture
- Vegetable seeds.

The company is always on the look out for new opportunities to expand and diversify into other potential line of the business and represent business interest of major product brands in Nepal. Research, production and marketing of hybrid and inbred (O.P.) variety of seeds at Kathmandu is one such area for joint venture. At present, the share of Misu Trading on vegetable seeds market is around 15%, and it is increasing every season.
